About Heart & Hands
Heart and Hands is a ministry that partners with Movement of Faith Church in Acuña, Mexico. Originally founded in 1995 by John and Dorothy Novara after they were sent out to the mission field from their home church in St. Louis, Missouri, we are located along the United States border of Texas and Mexico.
Serving Acuña
Aftercare Program
Twice a week, our aftercare program provides tutoring and 800 hot meals to children across three different sites.
Elderly Ministry
Once a week, our ministry team is able to provide hot meals to local widows and the elderly.
Crusades & Evangelistic Outreaches
With the goal of spreading the message of the Gospel, Heart and Hands, in partnership with other ministries, hosts quarterly crusades.
Local Pastoral & Ministry Team Support
We provide ongoing monthly support to the pastors and ministry team that live in Acuña so they can be equipped to continue the work.
